SOLID SAFTEY COVER

The POOL GUARD PVC Safety cover does not require hooks and eyelets, making it easy to install and remove. This has the huge benefit that the pool user will be more likely to replace the cover after using the pool. This technically superior cover conforms to international safety standards and sets the standards for pool covers. The heavy duty 550gsm reinforced PVC cover employs a system of aluminium poles built into the cover that runs in the width of the pool. The poles extend over of the paving and can support the weight of a grown up child. A series of drainage holes in the cover allows rain and irrigation water to drain into the pool. This eliminates a pool of water forming on top of the cover, something that poses a threat to curious toddlers.

OPENING AND CLOSING

The cover is secured at one end and pulled out across the pool. Once over the pool, ratchets are used to tighten the cover into place and are then locked down. When the cover is deployed, the pool is completely covered with poles being spaced at regular intervals to provide support & strength. This will ensure that the child remains above the water and will prevent the child to climb under the cover. The cross poles are linked to the cover via a central sleeve which is created using a High Frequency weld and are then riveted to prevent any slide - allowing the pool user to fold the poles over one another without any difficulty when opening the cover.

LOCKED INTO POSITION

An average pool of 3m wide will have 3 x ratchets attached to the starting pole at the shallow end. Attach to the ratchet is a stainless steel triangle that hooks over a removable stainless steel anchor bolts that's anchored into the paving. This bolt can be removed when the cover is removed. The opposite side will only have 3 x straps with triangle hooks that also clip over the anchor bolts. Once over the pool, ratchets are used to tighten the cover into place before it's locked down.
